    I was fighting with adding pics to a draft earlier...perhaps poor Blogger is having a meltdown over the heat?

    I've not seen this problem. A couple things you might try:

    1) Try posting from another browser: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and so on.
    2) Try posting from another computer.
    3) Maybe rebooting your computer.
